Initially built by Mr. and Mrs. Andrew K. Robertson between 1900 and 1910, the house was sold to the second doctor to live in the Katy area, Dr. Jefferson Davis Motheral, in 1929. The doctor's buggy shed still sits on the property. The house exchanged hands only a few times over the next 75 years. In 2004, attorney Gregory J. Dalton and his wife, Tina, purchased the house and began restoration for use as Mr. Dalton's law office. In the spring of 2006, Mr. Dalton permitted the Hon. Jeff Work to begin sharing the space for his own private firm, the WORK LAW FIRM. The Daltons have done a tremendous job in bringing a rich tradition back to the decor while maintaining a very comfortable office environment. The space includes conference rooms perfect for mediations and other business meetings.
